On 28 March 2025, Her Excellency Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas, Yan Jiarong, met with Director of Department of Aviation of The Bahamas, Dr. Kenneth Romer，His Excellency Ambassador-at-Large, Professor Gilbert Morris, and Executive Dean at the School of Global Governance of Beijing Institute of Technology, and experienced expert on unmanned aviation, Professor Liu Hao, who was invited by University of The Bahamas. They exchanged views on enhancing cooperation between China and The Bahamas in civil aviation, capacity building, and academic exchange.
