To mark World Autism Awareness Day 2025, we invited a City-obsessed young fan and his mum for a special day at the CFA!
Jude, a City in the Community (CITC) participant and season ticket holder at the Etihad Stadium, got to meet many of the stars of Pep Guardiola’s squad recently.
After catching up with Scott Carson, Ruben Dias, Nico O’Reilly and Bernardo Silva, Jude’s biggest smile of the day was reserved for his favourite player Ederson.
They all signed a City shirt that will serve a lifelong memento of an unforgettable day out!
Earlier in the video, we hear Jude’s mum Nicki outline how the love of City runs in the family and how Jude’s autism affects him.
Nicki also discusses the ways in which City and CITC have helped him through the years.
At the Etihad, Jude and his mum now sit in the quietest part of the stadium for him to enjoy the game without the need for ear defenders.
Jude also trains at the CFA every Tuesday night and represents CITC in the Ability Counts League on a Friday.
