At 37-years-old, Stephen Curry continues to etch his name in the record books of the NBA. Even in his sixteenth season, Curry seemingly finds a new way to make history on a basketball court on a nightly basis.
The Golden State Warriors, All-Star point guard made history multiple times over on Tuesday night during an incredible performance against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Curry scored 52 points, adding 10 rebounds, eight assists, five steals, one block, and 12 made 3-pointers during the Warriors' 134-125 win over the Grizzlies.
While Curry fell just two made 3-pointers shy of the all-time NBA single-game record (14), held by former teammate, Klay Thompson, that didn't stop Curry from joining another NBA legend in the annals of history.
Curry's 52 points brings his season total of points scored to 1,537. Curry joins Michael Jordan as the only guards in NBA history to score 1,500 points or more in a season at age 36 or older (per @StatMamba on X).

Jordan finished the final season of his playing career, 2002-03 with the Washington Wizards, with 1,640 total points scored. Jordan turned 39-years-old during that season.
Curry made history (at least) three times during Tuesday's performance. He also passed Jerry West for No. 25 on the NBA's all-time scoring list (25,205). Tuesday night was also Curry's fifteenth 50-point effort of his career. He passes LeBron James, the leading scorer in NBA history, for the most 50-point games ever.
Behind Curry's historic performance, the Warriors won their third consecutive game. With a record of 44-31 on the season, they've moved into the No. 5 spot in the Western Conference. They'll take on the Los Angeles Lakers in their next game on the road on Thursday night.
