Up front, there are question marks around Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez - while Federico Chiesa and Luis Diaz could also be sold. And in midfield too the likes of Tyler Morton and Harvey Elliott could be moved on.

Another contender who has recently emerged as a potential departure is Wataru Endo.

Queue forming for Endo

Signed as part of a midfield overhaul back in 2023, the Japan captain impressed during his first season at Anfield, winning the EFL Cup along the way.

Described as “world class” by Jurgen Klopp, it was expected that Endo would have a secure future on Merseyside but he’s been unable to decisively win over Arne Slot.

Liverpool would accept €15m to €20m

Now, according to Caught Offside, Champions League sides AC Milan and Celtic are in the mix for Endo with Ipswich, Fulham and Wolves also thought to be interested.

It’s also reported that Liverpool would consider a deal worth between €15 million and €20m for the former Stuttgart star, who last week was linked with a return to the Bundesliga.

Eintracht Frankfurt were reported to be interested in the 32-year-old, with Endo even considering a pay-cut in order to push through a move.

He is said to be eager for first-team football, having made only six starts under Slot this season and zero in the Premier League. If Liverpool bring in some money for Endo, it could free up funds for players elsewhere - such as Andrei Ratiu or Jorrel Hato.
