“He Should Demand A Trade”: Micah Parsons Dallas Cowboys Trade Suggested By Ex-NFL QB

Micah Parsons should demand a trade from the Dallas Cowboys if he wants to see an extension of his current contract, according to former NFL quarterback, Robert Griffin III. Parsons will be entering the final year of his contract with the Cowboys, but has never received any news about a possible extension from the team.

Parsons has been playing defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys since 2021 after being selected by the team as the 12th pick in the very first round of the NFL draft. Before entering the NFL, the linebackers played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 2018 to 2020.

“If Micah Parsons wants to win AND get paid, he should demand a trade from the Dallas Cowboys.” Robert Griffin III tweeted through his X account about Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys.

In the previous NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys finished third in the NFC East after winning seven games and losing ten, two spots below the Philadelphia Eagles who finished first and went on to win the Super Bowl. The Dallas Cowboys played their final game in the season against the Washington Commanders, losing the game embarrassingly 23-19.

While the Dallas Cowboys will rely on the likes of Dak Prescott to lead the team in terms of offense, Micah Parsons will be crucial for the team’s defense. If the Cowboys are aiming for a better performance in the next NFL season, they will need to make a move on Micah Parsons’ contract soon, and it looks like they have indeed done so.

Micah Parsons Offered Whopping Deal Without His Agent Present

After Robert Griffin III’s tweet on Micah Parsons, the Dallas Cowboys have reportedly taken notes and have extended a historic offer for their impressive linebacker. According to recent reports of the offer made by the Dallas Cowboys, Parsons will eventually become the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

However, the offer was made in the absence of David Mulugheta who is Micah Parsons’ agent. The absence of the agent couple definitely delayed any decision made by Parsons. At the same time, it looks like Parsons is definitely on-board with the new contract extension, and nodded along with Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys owner. Still, his agent’s inputs are not in, and both sides will have to wait for this.

According to the team’s vice-president Stephen Jones, the Cowboys have an open-door policy where players can openly speak about their demands and needs without their agent present. While Micah seems to have said his piece, the NFL world will have to wait for Mulugheta’s green signal before anything is solidified.
