Football hooligans from two top English clubs will have to hand over their passports for more than a month to stop them stoking violence at the Club World Cup.
Around 150 fans of Manchester City and Chelsea could have their summer holiday plans ruined, as the move will prevent them leaving the country between June 9 and July 13.
Everyone affected by the decision has a football behaviour order (FBO) preventing them from attended any regulated match after previous trouble.
Both Man City and Chelsea qualified for the Club World Cup as recent winners of the Champions League.
They are the only two UK teams who will be heading to the United States for the competition this summer.

Fans with FBOs have been stopped from travelling to previous tournaments including the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and last year’s Euros.
Those who do not comply with the order could face a limitless fine or up to six months in prison, along with an extension to their banning order.
According to the Home Office, 99% of people with FBOs complied and handed over their passports ahead of Euro 2024.

Policing Minister Dame Diana Johnson said she wanted Man City and Chelsea fans travelling to the US to support their teams ‘safely and enjoyably’.
She added: ‘But for the tiny minority of troublemakers who use football as an excuse for criminality, we will be applying the same proven preventative measures that we have successfully done for other overseas tournaments.
‘As part of the Safer Streets Mission and the government’s Plan for Change, we will continue to crack down on the hooligan minority, so that the vast majority can carry on attending football without trouble’
Police issued 825 new FBOs to trouble-making fans during the 2023/24 season, bringing the total number in England and Wales to 2,172.
