Sandro Tonali continues to be linked with a return to Italy much to the frustration of Newcastle United fans.
The Italian midfielder has become a fan favourite at St James’ Park following his £55m move from AC Milan in 2023.
Despite Tonali’s gambling suspension, Newcastle fans continued to offer their unwavering support to the 24-year-old and it has brought him even closer to the club.
Tonali starred at Wembley to help Newcastle win the Carabao Cup and repay the faith the fanbase showed in him. With a bright future ahead for the Magpies, Newcastle fans will not want Tonali going anywhere.
However, Tonali has been linked with a return to Italy several times, and AC Milan fans are desperate for Tonali to return.

Juventus plan to sign Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United
Outrageously, AC Milan believe they can sign Tonali for £50m this summer, but Newcastle are not prepared to let their Italian maestro go anytime soon.
Tonali has also been linked to Barcelona and now Serie A giants Juventus are plotting a bid for the Newcastle star.

Italian outlet Gazzetta claim that Juventus are hoping to ‘exploit’ their relationship with Newcastle having already signed Lloyd Kelly for £20m in January.
Juventus are aware that Tonali will be an expensive asset, so they are willing to offer player swap deals to try and convince Newcastle to sell.
It adds that negotiations have not yet begun, but that Juventus have identified Tonali as their first-choice midfield target for the summer.
The three players Juventus will offer for Sandro Tonali
PIF will want to keep hold of Newcastle’s star players this summer and Tonali has a contract until 2028 so there is no pressure to sell.
Juventus believe their best chance of landing Tonali in the summer is to try and offer a swap deal to Newcastle – there are three players they are willing to include.
Douglas Luiz
Federico Gatti
Dusan Vlahovic
Newcastle wanted to sign Douglas Luiz back in 2022 and Juventus are now offering the Brazilian as a swap deal for Tonali – he represents a straight midfield swap but his form in Italy hasn’t been overly impressive.

The next option is centre-back Federico Gatti, who would strengthen Eddie Howe’s options at the back. At 26 years old he still has plenty of years to improve, but his valuation doesn’t even come close to Tonali.
Finally, Juventus are preparing to lose striker Dusan Vlahovic, who was a Newcastle target as recently as this January. His contract is set to expire in 2026 and so Juve are willing to offload him this summer.
