“No One has Shown Me The Answer”: Jerry Jones Breaks Silence On Dallas Cowboys 29-Year Super…

Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys owner, recently discussed his opinions of the team and their struggles in a conversation with Jon Machota from The Athletic. Jones was asked about what he thought of his team not making it to the playoffs for 29 years. Jones, being the successful businessman he always has been, had a pretty optimistic answer to the question.

Jerry Jones has been the owner and the president of the Dallas Cowboys ever since 1989, after purchasing the team from Bum Bright. Under his leadership, Jones transformed the team into a successful one after taking tough calls like firing a number of staff who have worked with the Cowboys. In his tenure, the Cowboys have won three Super Bowls.

“I don’t wake up in the morning saying it’s been that long since we’ve played in an NFC championship game. We’ve had good teams. We’ve had good players. It’s not at all satisfactory, but no one has shown me the answer on how to get to a Super Bowl. I’ve seen all kinds of coaches in the NFL, and I’ve seen all kinds of general managers in any season not win Super Bowls. Yeah, I’m hard on the fact that we’re not getting in, and last year, that we had the kind of year we had, but I don’t sit around and dwell on that long since we have been and I don’t even want to have a tone about it. I’ve got too many other things that I’m proud of,” Jerry Jones said to Jon Machota.

Jerry Jones is certainly seeing the glass as half full and will be focusing on his team’s strengths rather than their shortcomings. Jones will be looking up to talented players like Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons to hopefully bring home the trophy for a fourth time.

Jerry Jones Discusses Deal With Micah Parsons Without Agent

Jerry Jones is doing everything in his power to help his team win the Super Bowl this time, and one of his moves is to retain linebacker Micah Parsons for a longer period of time. Along with Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, Parsons will play a crucial role in the team’s defense. Parsons is in his final year with the team as per his contract, and the team needs to make a decision about his future with the Cowboys.

Apparently, Jones has discussed a potential deal with Micah Parsons, which will make him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. However, the deal was discussed without the presence of Parsons’ agent, drawing plenty of flak from sports analysts and fans.
