Everton travel to Anfield on Wednesday evening for the final Merseyside derby of the season against Liverpool.
The Reds are vying to restore their 12-point lead over Arsenal in the Premier League after the Gunners beat Fulham on Tuesday.
But the Toffees are keen to spoil the party once again after their last-gasp 2-2 draw with Arne Slot’s men at Goodison Park in February.
David Moyes’ side are on a nine-game unbeaten run in the Premier League and will fancy their chances of causing an upset against the league leaders.

Ally McCoist left stunned by Moyes stat at Anfield
The Toffees last beat Liverpool on away soil back in 2021, leaving with a 2-0 win at Anfield behind closed doors amid the Covid pandemic.

But, Everton boss Moyes has never managed a victory over the Reds in an away fixture.
Speaking on TalkSport [2 April], Dean Saunders said: “What an unbelievable stat that is.
“David Moyes has never won at Anfield as a manager. Twenty-one games.”
Co-host Ally McCoist replied: “Has he not? I can’t believe that.”
Moyes will be keen to put Anfield record to bed
In his first tenure as Everton boss, Moyes made the Goodison Park faithful incredibly proud when he twice guided the Blues to higher Premier League finishes than Liverpool.

Everton head into the Merseyside Derby in good form
However, there would be no better feeling for the Toffees fans than to witness their side defeat the Reds at Anfield, especially in a season when Slot’s men are set to win the Premier League title.
Moyes will be incredibly eager to hand the Everton supporters a result which has eluded him throughout his career, as his unbelievable second spell in charge continues.
Wednesday’s Merseyside derby does not boast any permutations other than local pride, as Liverpool are set to win the Premier League title, while the Blues are certain to secure their top-flight status.
However, local bragging rights are incredibly important to both sets of supporters, which Moyes will be all the more aware of given his poor record at Anfield.
