Egypt 02042025 2.jpgOn Wednesday, April 2, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksandr Lytvynenko, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Egypt 02042025 4.jpgPlenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Ukraine Barakat Elleithy, who was accompanied by the Consul of the Egyptian Embassy Hossam Nureldin.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key aspects of cooperation between Ukraine and Egypt. Special attention was given to the results of the «grain corridor» and the issue of food security in African countries.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine thanked Egypt for its humanitarian support during the full-scale russian invasion and informed those present about the current security situation in Ukraine.
Egypt 02042025 1.jpgEgypt 02042025 3.jpgThe Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Ukraine, Barakat Elleithy, emphasized that his country's consistent policy towards Ukraine remains unchanged: the Egyptian government supports the principles of sovereignty, independence, unity, and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The Ambassador also expressed readiness to contribute to the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Egypt in the political, humanitarian, and cultural spheres.
