There is interest in Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez from Real Madrid and he could be on the move in the summer transfer window.
Rumoured Madrid links with Enzo Fernandez
It has been reported that Real Madrid are potentially interested in signing Enzo Fernandez in the summer. He arrived in January to join Chelsea in January 2023 He was signed for a big price of £105 million.
The Argentina international has played 97 games for the west London side so far. He has been good under head coach Maresca. Maresca has been using the midfielder in several different formations.
Generally, the player is central-midfielder. But he has also played as a number ten in Cole Palmer’s absence. He has done a decent job in that role as well. But it looks like his time in England might be coming to an end.
In spite of having a great impact since joining, he might be heading out of the club in the summer. However, he has also said that he wants to win the league with the Blues.
Chelsea’s stance on Fernandez
As per Greame Bailey (TBR Football), Chelsea are not open to selling their star player anytime soon. The rumours have that there are no official talks yet between the player and any interested parties. But if anyone comes with offers, the London club will turn them down immediately.

The 24-year-old midfielder has a deal until 2032 at the Stamford Bridge, as per FA reports. That suggests that the club will be holding onto their star for couple of years more.
Atletico Madrid are also seem to be interested in the potential Los Blancos’ target. Sources suggests that a move to Atletico is not likely, if the player decides to leave Chelsea.
Although, Real won’t be pushing hard as they already have plenty of stars for that position.
