Chelsea plotting€100 million offer to sign Portugese winger

Chelsea are plotting €100 million offer to sign world-class Portugese winger this summer. The player’s current club are now prepared to sell him after rejecting offer from the West London club in 2022.

The Blues are set for another big summer window. They are said to make new signings in almost all parts of the pitch. Enzo Maresca is likely to be backed by the board to bring in players of his choice. The Italian wants a new winger who plays mainly on the left side.

Mykhailo Mudryk is suspended and even if his ban is cancelled, he is likely to be sent on loan. In addition, Joao Felix is likely to depart along with Christopher Nkunku. Lastly, the Blues are also planning to sell Sancho which makes it clear that new players are needed on left side.

Chelsea ready to spend big on AC Milan star

According to Calcio Mercato, the Blues hold strong interest in Rafael Leao. They are prepared to spend €100 million in order to lure Portugese away from AC Milan. The 25 year old is likely to be made available in market as Milan are set to miss out on Champions League football.

Chelsea tried to sign Leao back in 2022 but failed to do so. At that time, Milan were demanding Leao’s €150 million release clause to be paid fully. But, they have now lowered their demands and €100 million is believed to be enough to land the Portugal international.

Chelsea also have plenty other options in the market. They are huge admirers of Jamie Gittens. But, Leao can be an upgrade on both Gittens and current Chelsea players. The Portugal international has been superb for Milan since joining them. He has played 253 games for them and has registered 68 goals along with 50 assists.
