Al Nassr are prepared to trigger the £85m release clause in the contract of West Ham United winger Mohammed Kudus.
The Saudi Pro League side are keen to bring in another attacking option this summer and have placed Kudus near the top of their wish list. Kudus is rumoured to be unsettled at West Ham following a difficult campaign for the club in the Premier League.
The Ghana international has struggled to replicate his performances from last season, scoring just three times in 27 games. Kudus scored 14 goals in all competitions during an encouraging first season at the London Stadium in 2023/24.
🚨🇸🇦 Understand that Mohammed #Kudus’ release clause for Saudi clubs is even higher than the £85 million set for European teams.

Despite that dip, Al Nassr are now weighing up a move to activate the £85m release clause in his deal. Head coach Stefano Pioli wants to bring in another wide player, following the sale of Anderson Talisca to Fenerbahce in January.
Kudus is one of three Premier League names on the Saudi side’s shortlist, alongside Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo and Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma.
However, Sky Germany are reporting that Kudus’ release clause is set higher than £85m for Saudi sides.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea all admire the multi-functional forward but are not prepared to meet the release clause in his contract. West Ham signed Kudus from Ajax for a fee in the region of £38m in 2023.
