Southampton are currently sit on 20th position in the Premier League. They have got only nine points from 29 games this season. The gap between 17th placed Wolves and the Saints is of 17 points. As a result, they are most likely to get a demotion this year.

The England international will not be willing to play in the Championship. He also has to fight for his place in the National team as well. So, his exit is surely happening.

Bournemouth are interested in the English keeper. He was playing for them at the Vitality Stadium before he joined Sheffield United. As per The Sun, the Cherries are looking for goalkeepers in the summer. And they are keeping tabs on Ramsdale.

The 26-years-old shot stopper was with Bournemouth for three years. In 2017, he left the club to and signed for Sheffield Utd.

Keeper options for the Cherries

Another option for Andoni Iraola’s side is Maduka Okoye from Udinese. Kepa Arrizabalaga is their current first choice between the posts. He could also extend his stay at the Vitality Stadium but his recent form has been in doubt.

He joined the Iraola’s side on loan from**Chelsea**. Man City beat the Cherries 2-1 in the FA Cup quarter-final. The Spaniard saved a crucial penalty of Halaand. However, he couldn’t save Omar Marmoush’s effort before the ball hitting the back of the net.
