Manchester City News can exclusively reveal that Pep Guardiola is a huge admirer of Florian Wirtz and he would like for the German international to make a move to the Etihad Stadium.
In the lead-up to the summer transfer window, Manchester City have been linked with the Bayer Leverkusen maverick’s signature on a whole host of instances.
Manchester City have apparently approached Wirtz already as they view him as a successor to Kevin De Bruyne, who could leave the club in the summer.

However, the ongoing hold-up with regards to the Pulheim-born attacker is that Bayer Leverkusen have offered him a lucrative contract that will contain a release clause if he puts pen to paper.
Now, the decision lies in Wirtz’s hands about whether he would like to sign for either Manchester City or Bayern unless he decides his future lies at his boyhood club.
