A fresh update has claimed that Ange Postecoglou now knows exactly what he has to do to ensure that he will still be in the Tottenham hot seat at the start of next season.
Over the last few weeks, a number of outlets have claimed that Spurs have already started considering candidates to replace Postecoglou at the end of this season.
Some sources have asserted that Postecoglou will find it difficult to stay in his job if he does not achieve European qualification for next season.
However, Tottenham Hotspur are in a tricky situation at the moment as while this season has been a disastrous one so far, they still have the chance to turn this into a memorable one if they win the Europa League and break their 17-year trophy drought.

Europa League sack update regarding Ange Postecoglou
Football Insider have now claimed that the Tottenham boss would have to win the Europa League season and secure passage to next season’s Champions League to still be in his job next season.
If the Lilywhites fail to go all the way and lift the trophy in Bilbao, the Australian is not expected to cling to his job, even though he has a year left on his contract at N17.

Sources have reportedly made it clear that it is now ‘Europa League or bust’ for Ange Postecoglou as his Tottenham side prepare for a huge quarterfinal clash against Eintracht Frankfurt next week.
The outlet also confirms what has been reported by other sources by stating that Tottenham have already begun looking for potential options to replace the 59-year-old at the end of the season.
Is Ange Postecoglou guaranteed to stay if he wins the Europa League?
While this update from Football Insider suggests that Spurs have to win the Europa League for their head coach to save his job, it was claimed last week that even lifting the trophy might not guarantee that he will still be in charge next season.
It was claimed by The Athletic that Postecoglou’s job is ‘in serious doubt’ beyond the summer no matter what happens in the Europa League.
The report also confirmed that Andoni Iraola is Tottenham’s preferred choice to take over from the former Celtic boss.
