One Chelsea star is likely to be sold in the summer transfer window. He is currently away from West London on loan but will return after the end of the season. However, it will not be a long stay for him at Stamford Bridge.
The star in question here is Joao Felix. Chelsea signed him in summer 2024 from Atletico Madrid. They paid £42 million in order to secure his signature. However, the deal did not go as per the plans for both player and the club.
Felix played only 20 games in the first half of the season. In addition, he only started 9 of those. Despite scoring 7 goals and picking 2 assists, the Portugese found himself way behind in pecking order. This caused him to move away in January.
Felix demanded more game-time from Enzo Maresca. In addition, he wanted to play in his natural position. As a result, the Blues decided to let him leave on loan. AC Milan opted to sign him and the Portugese had good start in Italy.
Earlier, there was a belief that Felix may continue at Milan. The player too said that he will like to stay in Italy. But, the situation has now completely changed. Fabrizio Romano has reported that Felix will not stay at Milan beyond this season.
Joao Felix to return at Chelsea with the Blues already making plans about his future
AC Milan are set for major changes in the summer window. Many of their stars are likely to leave due to absence of UCL football. Felix has failed to impress and hence he will be sent back to Chelsea.

The Blues will like to sell Felix permanently in summer window. They are keen to bring in new players and hence want to raise funds. The 25 year old will depart from West London for second time with both pf his stints only lasting half season.
