Manchester City are one of the sides eyeing up Paris Saint Germain youngster Mahamadou Sangaré, with a potential loan to sister club Troyes in the plans.
That’s according to RMC Sport, who say PSG will ‘lose a great talent’ this summer and Manchester City are ready to scoop him up.
They report that the 18-year-old striker is set to leave PSG in the summer with his current contract coming to an end.
Several clubs are eyeing him up but ‘notably’ Manchester City and those in the City Football Group, who are keen to sign the young forward.
The idea at Manchester City would be to sign him and then loan him to Troyes for a season. The French club are part of the City Football Group. Nothing has been finalised, though, and there is competition for his signature, particularly in Germany.
Sangaré is the current top scorer in the Youth League with ten goals and has scored two hattricks against Bayern Munich and Atlético Madrid. That’s made an impression and Manchester City are one of the sides interested in him.
Whether they can convince him to move to the Etihad, particularly with their Troyes plan, remains to be seen.
