We did see Leicester publish their accounts for 2023-24. A loss of around £19,4 million. This shows that the club coped with a relegation. They also managed to get back on budget.
A massive amount of money were freed up for Steve Cooper to use. The new manager splashed the cash. One of his signings, Bilal El Khannouss, will most certainly be a guarantee for a massive transfer fee, if sold.
The administration at the club will take necessary actions. Their efforts will keep the club’s head above water. Because of this, the club will not face punishment from PL or EFL. The 2024-25 season will have no say for The EFL if Leicester are relegated. They have no legal issue against a team coming from another league.
Still we feel the club flirts too much with all these issues. Bad publicity and noise will, of course, punish the club in another way. This will affect the reputation and solidity of Leicester City. That is why we believe the club should decide on a new strategy. The club needs to get the solidity in place to avoid this negative publicity.

Owners must understand that this constant flirting with PSR and FFP makes no one happy. The signings of Oliver Skipp, Jordan Ayew and Caleb Okoli last summer, are three major mistakes. Leicester spent in the region of £40million on these three players. The use of that money should have stayed in the till. This would ensure having funds available. It would also help avoid issues regarding financial rules and regulations.
This is the major question to ask. Why do Leicester stretch the limits so far? They get the attention we would love to see vanish as soon as possible.
We still believe the club are in good hands. The future looks bright with a number of great talents to build on. In a season or two, this should hopefully give the club a better foundation.
