Google Pixel users have complained that the ‘At a Glance’ widget on the home screen displays outdated or inaccurate weather forecasts. Some users noted that even though the current temperature shown on the widget is accurate, the high and low-temperature forecasts have been wrong for over a week.
As reported by The Verge, some shared that their Pixel 8A lock screen displays yesterday's forecast as today's in the morning and today's forecast as tomorrow's in the evening.
The problem appears to affect quite a few Pixel models and versions of Android. I personally didn't notice it, probably because I haven't even noticed the entire widget for some time now. Users noted that the weather app was giving accurate data, which could only mean one thing—the problem lies with the widget.
Google has acknowledged the bug and says it is rolling out a fix to address the problem. A spokesperson for the company explained that this update aims to restore accurate weather forecasts for affected devices.
