Samsung has reportedly postponed the launch of Galaxy S25 Edge, which was initially planned for April 15, 2025, due to a recent leadership change in its Device eXperience (DX) division. ETNews reports that the launch is now likely to occur in May or June 2025.

Instead of holding an in-person event, Samsung will announce the device through an online presentation that will include details about the phone's specifications, pricing, and release date.

The company has reportedly informed South Korea's three major telecom providers about the revised timeline. This decision seems unrelated to quality issues but rather a result of internal adjustments after organizational changes.

It will be priced between the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra. In South Korea, the 256GB model will start at KRW 1,500,000 ($1,023), while the 512GB variant will cost KRW 1,630,000 ($1,118), as reported by GSMArena.

In Europe, the phone is expected to launch at €1,200–€1,300 for the 256GB version and €1,300–€1,400 for the 512GB model. Samsung initially plans to produce only 40,000 units.

The phone will reportedly be available in three colors: Titanium Icyblue, Titanium Silver, and Titanium black.

The revised launch timeline places the Galaxy S25 Edge announcement just ahead of Samsung's next foldable phone release, scheduled for July 2025.
