For 12 years, I’ve been dedicated to sharing vital information about health and science by writing and posting it on Skeptical Raptor. But it’s a challenge to keep this going. I need your support to make it happen.
Even though I do this for fun, it is nearly a full-time job between researching and reading for new articles, along with managing and maintaining this website. I remember back in the old days when I had about 100 views a month, everything was easy. But websites have gotten much more complicated.
This website requires significant expenses to run, including a lot of formerly free services for websites, like Jetpack, Disqus, and a few others, which are now quite expensive. They are necessary to keep the website running.
Although I love writing about vaccines, pseudoscience, and whether vaccines cause autism (it doesn’t, in case you were wondering), it’s grown from its humble roots as a small hobby to a massive undertaking. And this is where I need to cyberbeg (is that a word?) for your help.
There are three easy ways to support me.

GoFundMe
This is for a one-time contribution. Give whatever makes you feel comfortable, but it goes to helping me continue this website.
Patreon
You can help by subscribing to my Patreon. The benefit of it is that you get informed of new content that is in an easy-to-read format. If you do choose to subscribe, please sign up from a browser and not the app. Apple and Google take 30% (yes, 30%) from subscription fees. If only I had invented the app store!
Amazon
I know we should hate Amazon, but it helps me out. This method is completely passive, it won’t cost you a single penny. When you purchase something from Amazon, I receive a small commission from the Amazon Associates program.
Finally, comment and share
You can also help by commenting and sharing my articles. Google’s algorithms love that.
Thanks for your help!
What is a Skeptical Raptor?
The Skeptical Raptor could be a feathered dinosaur from the Cretaceous or a feathered avian dinosaur from the Holocene. After 12 years of writing here, I haven’t decided yet which one.
Michael Simpson
