Anonymous NBA Hall of Famer Shades Steph Curry After 52-Point Game

An anonymous NBA Hall of Famer has shaded Steph Curry just one day after the Golden State Warriors superstar scored 52 points against the Memphis Grizzlies.

ESPN's Stephen A. Smith said a Hall of Famer told him that Curry would not average more than 17 points in his era.

Smith did not reveal who the player was.

Curry is the greatest shooter in NBA history. He's made the most 3-pointers ever while winning four championships and two MVPs. The Davidson product has career averages of 24.7 points.

Time travel doesn't exist, so it's impossible to know how many points Curry would average back in the day. All we can do is sit back and relax and watch the show Steph is putting on right now.

An 11-time All-Star, Curry is averaging 24.4 points this season while shooting 44.6% from the field, 39.9% from beyond the arc and 92.9% from the free-throw line. The future Hall of Famer leads the NBA in free throw percentage. He's also second in 3-pointers.

The Warriors are in fifth place in the Western Conference standings with a record of 44-31.

Curry and Co. are back in action on Thursday when they face LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in LA. If the regular season ended today, Golden State would face Los Angeles in the first round of the playoffs.
