Manchester United’s season went from bad to worse on Tuesday as they were beaten 1-0 by high-flying Nottingham Forest.
The Red Devils have endured a torrid season so far and went dealt further embarrassment when former player Anthony Elanga netted the winner for Forest at The City ground, leaving United 13th in the Premier League table.
Ruben Amorim’s side are set to miss out on qualification for any form of European football next term, although they could still qualify for the Champions League if they win the Europa League this time around.
This summer is set to be a busy one at Old Trafford, and it appears that the club could be willing to sell one of their key players.
According to GiveMeSport, United could be willing to sell Alejandro Garnacho this summer in order to fund a move for striker Victor Osimhen.
The report claims that the Manchester club are set to seek clarification surrounding Napoli’s interest in the Argentinian, who was the subject of interest from the Serie A side in January.

Osimhen, meanwhile, is currently on loan from Napoli at Turkish side Galatasaray, where he has netted 26 goals in 31 matches for the club so far this term.
The forward was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League last summer but a move never materialised, and he ultimately ended up joining Galatasaray.
The report claims that United are set to step up their interest in the Nigeria international, and a swap deal has been touted.
United are said to be open to the idea of selling Garnacho – who has scored nine goals and provided eight assists in 46 games this term – in order to find new signings if they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
