Chelsea and Liverpool are reportedly the favourites to sign 24-year-old English international Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Crystal Palace will likely lose Marc Guehi in the summer transfer window. Aston Villa, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the English international, with Chelsea and Liverpool being the favourites to secure his services.
The rise of Marc Guehi as a Premier League force
Marc Guehi has been one of the best defenders in the Premier League since joining Crystal Palace from Chelsea in July 2021. The Englishman has come leaps and bounds in the last three and a half years, with his exploits helping him establish a foothold in his national squad.
The 24-year-old was part of the team that reached the UEFA Euro 2024 final last year. Meanwhile, Guehi has turned out nearly 150 times thus far for Crystal Palace while chipping in with eight goals and four assists. The player’s progress has not gone unnoticed, with Premier League bigwigs like Aston Villa, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur vying for his signature going into the summer transfer window.
