Arsenal will likely make several changes to the squad during the summer transfer window.
A marquee striker should be the top priority for the Gunners, but they could also enter the transfer market for a new winger.
In our opinion, the Gunners should consider an upgrade on Leandro Trossard, who has shown signs of regression this season.
Trossard has managed only 14 goal contributions from 2,678 minutes. He had 19 goal involvements from 2,263 minutes last term.
The Belgian has been a lesser attacking influence over the past few months and the Gunners could contemplate his possible departure.
Arsenal turned down a £29 million bid from Al-Ittihad for Trossard last year, but we would be surprised if they snub a similar bid this summer.
The Gunners have recently made contact for Algerian winger Mohamed Amoura. The 24-year-old would be a quality replacement for Trossard.
The Algerian is presently on a season-long loan deal at Wolfsburg from Union SG, but they have the option to buy for £12 million upfront, as per L’Equipe.
Wolfsburg could sell him for £29m to £33m this summer after triggering the clause.
Amoura has a similar profile as Trossard. He can operate as a left winger or as a centre-forward.
The attacker has 19 goal contributions from 2,235 minutes this campaign. He has also caught the eye with his high pressing and tireless work rate.
At 24, he is just entering the prime of his career and would represent a good summer acquisition for Arsenal without costing a huge price tag.
Arsenal have already found a quality deputy for Bukayo Saka on the right wing in Ethan Nwaneri.
Amoura would provide serious competition for places to Gabriel Martinelli on the left wing. He could also start as a centre-forward whenever required.
