Final Injury Report for Knicks-Cavaliers, Will Karl-Anthony Towns Play?

The New York Knicks are on the road on Wednesday night as they face off against the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers.

New York enters Wednesday's contest amid a three-game winning streak and they have also won six of their last 10 games.

They will now look to keep things rolling against a Cavaliers team that has cooled off recently as they have dropped five of their last 10 games.

Unfortunately for the Knicks, they may once again be shorthanded in Wednesday's game and they may also be without their star center Karl-Anthony Towns for the second consecutive contest.

Towns is listed as probable due to left knee soreness that kept him out of Tuesday's victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

With Towns sitting out the first game of the back-to-back, it is likely that he will return against the Cavaliers but if he is sidelined once again, expect Mitchell Robinson to fill in for him in the starting lineup.

New York has ruled out Jalen Brunson for Wednesday's game as he continues to recover from a sprained ankle that has kept him out since early March.

The Knicks have also ruled out both Cameron Payne and Miles McBride once again as they continue to deal with injuries.

With the two players sidelined on Wednesday, Delon Wright will likely draw another start and Tyler Kolek should continue to see an increased role off the bench.

On the other side, the Cavaliers will enter Wednesday's game almost fully healthy as they have listed just two players on their injury report.

They have listed Dean Wade as questionable due to an illness and they have ruled out Ty Jerome due to a knee injury.

With Jerome out, Craig Porter Jr. should see an increased role off the bench.
