Everton and West Ham want to sign Man Utd defender

Everton and West Ham United have emerged as potential candidates to sign Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof this summer.

The Sweden international has been a fringe player for the Red Devils this campaign and has played less than 600 minutes in all competitions.

His current deal expires at the end of the season and TBR Football claim that he could prolong his stay in the Premier League next term.

The Toffees and Hammers are weighing up contract offers for the 30-year-old, who is also on the radar of former club Benfica.

It remains to be seen whether Lindelof will stay in the English top-flight.

The defender has previously spoken fondly about Benfica and he could be tempted to return to Portugal on a free transfer deal.

Everton and West Ham United will be hoping that they can persuade Lindelof with a lucrative salary package this summer.

Apart from Lindelof, Jonny Evans and Christian Eriksen are also expected to leave the Red Devils at the expiry of their contracts.
