The Golden State Warriors secured their third straight victory on Tuesday night, defeating the Memphis Grizzlies 134-125 in a high-scoring showdown. With the win, the Warriors (44-31) leapfrogged Memphis to claim the fifth seed in the Western Conference, keeping their hopes alive for an even higher finish with seven games left in the regular season.
The night belonged to Steph Curry, who delivered a historic 52-point masterpiece, adding 10 rebounds and eight assists as the Warriors cruised to victory. The two-time MVP set the tone early, dropping 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists in the first quarter alone, while knocking down five three-pointers. That stat line made him the oldest player in NBA history to record those numbers in a single quarter (Via StatMamba).
Curry continued his dominance in the first half, becoming the oldest player ever to post 30+ points, 5+ rebounds, and 5+ assists before halftime. He also surpassed his former teammate Klay Thompson for the most career games with 12+ three-pointers (4).
Even head coach Steve Kerr, who has coached Curry for over a decade, was left in awe.
"The guy is 37 years old. Incredible. Fifty-two points with people draped all over him all game long," Kerr said. "The conditioning. The skill. The audacity. The belief. It's just incredible to watch Steph at work. I can't believe he's still doing this at this age."

The Warriors now shift their attention to a marquee matchup against the 4th-seeded Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday. With the playoffs fast approaching, Golden State remains locked in on their ultimate goal-winning a fifth NBA championship in the Curry era.
