JJ Redick Sends Clear LeBron James Message Before Warriors Game

The Los Angeles Lakers are finding their form, as they've won two straight games after losing four of their last five before that. Now, they're just a half-game behind the Denver Nuggets for third place in the Western Conference ahead of their matchup with the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.

After LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and Austin Reaves all missed time recently, Los Angeles is now almost fully healthy. Its only major injury left is backup forward Maxi Kleber (foot), but Redick said that there will be an update on him before Thursday's game, via The Athletic's Jovan Buha.

Now that James is back, Redick wants the NBA to give him the credit he deserves, via LoJo Media.

"LeBron should be All-NBA," the first-year coach said on Wednesday.

James is averaging 24.4 points on 51 percent shooting with 8.4 assists and 8.1 rebounds in 35.1 minutes this season. The 40-year-old ranks 11th in scoring, sixth in assists, and 23rd in rebounds.

James also won Western Conference Player of the Month in February after averaging 29.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 6.9 assists in 11 games. The four-time champion is the oldest player in NBA history to win the award, surpassing Karl Malone (37). He's also won Player of the Month a record 41 times.

After Thursday's Warriors game, the Lakers will host the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday before traveling for two road contests against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday and Tuesday. They'll then finish the road trip against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.
