Fans of the Buffalo Bills have had a tremendous offseason, with the team adding talent through free agency and locking up MVP quarterback Josh Allen on a six-year deal, times haven't been much better for Bills Mafia.
But they could get even better.
Bills' chief operating officer Pete Gueli spoke with WGR reporter Sal Capaccio over the weekend at the annual NFL owners meetings, where many potential rule changes were discussed, including one regarding the league's uniform policy.
On Monday, Fox Sports reporter Jordan Schultz reported that the NFL was expanding on its loosening of the league-wide uniform policy. In 2024, teams could wear alternate or throwback uniforms thrice per season, and that number is expanding to four times per annum in 2025.
While this may seem like a minor, negligible change, Bills Mafia received an encouraging tease from their COO.
"On any 3rd or new uniform for the Bills, COO Pete Guelli said this year will be more focusing on commemorating final year of current stadium and uni combinations. However, said, "we are looking at some things relative to that first year and the opening of that new stadium," but nothing he can disclose right now." Reported Capaccio.

While it's not an official announcement or declaration, and doesn't exactly specify what uniforms may be in the works, it's hard to imagine a blast from the past wouldn't be in major contention.
From 1987 to 2001, the Bills wore blue, white and red home jerseys with white pants, paired with a red helmet. The iconic look is also tied to its golden era, when the Bills played in four consecutive Super Bowls from 1990 to 1993. If the team were to bring this look back, it would give the current iteration of Bills, led by Allen, the chance to finally bring home the Lombardi Trophy in the iconic look.
Despite a number of throwback looks being brought back across the NFL, the Bills haven't brought these bad boys back. The team hasn't worn any AFL-era throwbacks since 2021, so those seem out of the window. The Bills have worn white helmets since 2011, so red helmets are definitely at the top of the request list for Bills fans.
