The final injury update ahead of the Premier League clash between London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham.
Tottenham cannot achieve European qualification through the Premier League, but as Ange Postecoglou battles to keep his job, Spurs also want to build momentum as they look to challenge for the Europa League title. As we count down the hours and minutes to the latest Chelsea and Spurs derby, we have rounded up the final injury news following each manager’s pre-match press conference.
Radu Dragusin - Out
Dragusin is out until the end of 2025 after rupturing his ACL. Postecoglou has said: “Radu underwent surgery today following his ACL injury. That procedure has now been completed, and the centre-back will now commence with his recovery before beginning the rehab process.”
Dejan Kulusevski - Out
Postecoglou said in his press conference: “Kulusevski and Kevin [Danso] should return in the next few weeks.”
Kevin Danso - Out
The same as above applies for Danso, who has been struggling with a hamstring issue.
Lucas Bergvall - Fit
Bergvall is fit after recovering from illness.
Richarlison - Out
Postecoglou said in his pre-match press conference: “[There is] a chance to play the weekend if he keeps training as he has been.”
Omari Kellyman - Out
Having spent much of the season out, Kellyman has now confirmed that he will be out until the summer. He said: “Beyond gutted to say that this season has come to an early end for me due to a re-injury of my hamstring. 24-25 has been a tough season for me mentally and physically due to injury, but it’s important now that I take time to get this right...”
Cole Palmer - Fit
Palmer will be good to go, with Maresca confirming: "Yeah, Cole is back, he's okay, he's better, Noni is better, Nico is better, and yeah, they are all good." Maresca added when asked about the impact of their return: "Absolutely, very good. We said many times that at the end it's a game for players and when they are not there for different reasons, you struggle. This is exactly what happened with us this season, where we had five or six unbelievable months and then six or seven injuries in a row and we lost something, but now it's good to finish with a lot of them.” The next two players, also fall into this update.
Noni Madueke - Fit
Nicolas Jackson - Fit
Marc Guiu - Out
Guiu picked up a hamstring injury and Maresca said at the time: “Marc will also be out for a while. He has a muscle problem, a hamstring issue as well, and will be out for a little while.” He remains out.
Romeo Lavia - Out
Maresca said in his pre-match press conference ahead of this one: "He was doing better in terms of progress, but unfortunately one day ago he had again a small problem. So we're going to see in the next hours."
