The [Washington Wizards](https://www.bulletsforever.com) are mercifully arriving to the end of their season. Not a lot of wins, but some encouraging signs are visible. The goal at this point is establish some foundations (did someone say to grab the best lottery odds?!). Tomorrow they host the Orlando Magic on the second night of a back-to-back.

**Pregame notes**
-----------------
**The Wizards are on a back-to-back —** This is an especially good moment to let youngsters, G-leaguers, 2-wayers, etc. get significant playing time. At this point the vets can sit down.
**Please rest Jordan Poole —** This is particularly pertinent given what we just said. Let the youngsters show their skills and get some playing experience.
**Defense —** The Wizards have shown some flashes of willingness to defend. On the back end of a back-to-back is a good time to challenge the youngsters to show some grit and fight for those 50-50 balls. It’s good to end the season on a strong note.
**Mo Wagner —** I was going to say this could be a Mo revenge game, but alas, he is out for the season. Get better soon, Mo!
**Flashback: Wizards beat Orlando a few years ago**

The Wizards, just a few years ago started the season hot with a 9-3 run! One of those games was a nice win agains the Magic. Things did look rosy back then. Here are the highlights from that forgotten night. Who doesn’t miss Dinwiddie?
