Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has insisted that Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford is progressively getting better after adding another goal to his tally this season.
The forward opened the scoring in the 51st minute for the West Midlands club as Villa romped to a 3-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium. Rashford's strike came just days after he notched his first two goals for his new club in the FA Cup quarter-final victory over Preston North End.

United's academy product debuted a new celebration after scoring, leaving his head point behind in favour of a knee slide in front of the travelling supporters. Villa fans have grown fond of Rashford since he moved to the club and Emery's team could sign him permanently for £40m if they wish at the end of the season.
Speaking to reporters in his post-match press conference, the Villa manager insisted that he is seeing improvements from Rashford with each passing day. "The most important thing is how he’s feeling," Emery explained.
"How he’s recovering confidence himself playing football, being focused only on football, being with his team-mates comfortable. As well, identifying and understanding our style, our demands.
"Everything with him is progressively getting better." Reports have suggested that Villa would like to sign Rashford permanently in the summer but they are unwilling to commit to this decision, at this stage.
It is understood that Villa wish to wait until the end of the season when they will be more aware of the money coming in from potential Champions League football. While Emery's men can still qualify for next season's Champions League through winning the competition, they still have a realistic chance of qualifying through their Premier League position.
