West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus hasn’t been anywhere near his best this season.
Mohammed Kudus fell out with Julen Lopetegui during West Ham‘s draw away at Brentford early on in the season, and he has never recovered from that really.
Tongues were set wagging when Mohammed Kudus missed West Ham’s clash with Wolves on Tuesday night.
However, it has since come to light that the Ghanaian picked up knock, and wasn’t fit to take part at Molineux.

If we’re all being honest, the 24-year-old hasn’t quite been the game-changer we all expected him to be.
Mohammed Kudus is still yet to score a winning goal for West Ham, and that statistic tells its own story really doesn’t it.
Painful Mohammed Kudus blow is actually perfect for West Ham
So it has been claimed by Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg that Kudus’s release clause is actually higher for clubs out in Saudi.
The chance to get a fee closer to £100 million for the Ghana international is an incredibly exciting one.

However, Kudus apparently has no interest in moving out to the Saudi Pro League – a bitter blow indeed for the Hammers.
It was claimed recently that Kudus was in fact keen to move out to Saudi Arabia (Modern Ghana), but it seems like he’s performed a big U-turn now.
He will end up leaving the London Stadium, probably for less than his £85 million release clause.
If the Hammers manage to get around £50-60 million for Kudus, it may well seem like a big disappointment at the time.

As far as I’m concerned though, it will be the best thing that ever happened to the club.
Selling Mohammed Kudus will transform West Ham as a club
I don’t think there will be any top European clubs willing to pay £85 million for the Ghanaian.
However, £50 million odd would do just nicely for us. It would still represent a huge profit for the Hammers on the £38 million the owners parted with to sign him two years ago.
It will also mean that selling clubs will not demand ridiculous fees from West Ham for their players this summer.
Proceeds from the potential Kudus sale will be vital for Graham Potter to bring in the players he needs to the London Stadium this summer.
The Hammers head coach has to completely change the way the club operates from a player recruitment point of view.
Potter has to bring more youth, energy, dynamism, athleticism and hunger through the doors this summer.
A big fee for Mohammed Kudus, and hopefully a few other players as well, will enable the West Ham boss to oversee the squad revamp the club so desperately needs.
It might not feel like it now, but the Hammers selling Kudus this summer is exactly what we need to do in order to make some progress.
