Richarlison is still a beloved figure amongst the Everton fanbase.

The Brazilian forward notched 53 goals and 13 assists in 152 matches in all competitions for the Blues before he secured a £60million move to Tottenham in 2022.

However, his time in North London has been miserable and he continues to be linked with a move back to Merseyside.

A new development from Brazil may give the Toffees the chance to secure a return for the 27-year-old.

Richarlison set for Everton return after Tottenham misery

A Richarlison return to Everton would give the fanbase a huge lift, as his departure was forced to help the Blues with their financial issues.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES

With the Blues’ finances looking a lot healthier under the Friedkin Group and the latest update on the attackers’ future, a comeback could be a realistic option.

Goal Brazil reported (1 April) that Tottenham are set to listen to offers for the former Toffees star in the summer transfer window.

It states that the player wants to remain in European football, which would give David Moyes‘ side the perfect chance to reunite with their Brazilian icon.

Everton supporters would love Richarlison return

It is clear from his actions on social media that Richarlison still loves Everton and would be open to a sensational return.

The Spurs star has struggled in London, featuring just 80 times across three seasons and notching just 18 goals in that time.

He has played just nine times in the Premier League this season but a return to the Toffees could give him the chance to get back to his best form and play his football in a place where he feels loved, rather than just being another body.

The gamble is worth taking despite his fitness issues since he departed, Moyes’ side are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements ahead of the new season with Dominic Calvert-Lewin seemingly set for an exit and several others failing to impress.

The Friedkins could do worse than making the Brazil star their first signing for the club in the summer as it would increase the feelgood factor that already surrounds the move to Bramley-Moore Dock exponentially.
