Chelsea fans have a lot to say about transfer target Liam Delap after his latest Premier League goal,‘I can’t wait’…

As Chelsea continue to monitor a number of options ahead of the summer transfer window, one of the reported names on their list made a big statement in their most recent outing.

Liam Delap was back amongst the goals in the Premier League as Ipswich Town picked up a rare win against Bournemouth.

The Tractor Boys are still likely to be relegated at the end of the season, opening up the possibility for a side to come in and sign the striker when the transfer window opens.

Delap has a relegation release clause of around £40m, and Chelsea are one of the sides very strongly linked with signing him.

Chelsea’s other striker transfer targets

Despite the manager’s admiration of Delap, there are reportedly a number of names on Chelsea’s list ahead of what will certainly be a busy summer transfer window.

Victor Osimhen is a long-term target, and was nearly brought in on deadline day of the previous summer window.

Elsewhere, Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres are on the list, however will both be on the agenda of a number of top sides in the Premier League and Europe.

There is no guarantee the Blues will leave it at one striker addition in the summer, and they are reportedly considering making a bid for Emanuel Emegha from Strasbourg after his excellent form in 2025.
