Wolves have a big summer transfer window ahead of them, and there are signs that the club may have turned a corner since Vitor Pereira arrived.
Vitor Pereira was happy with how the January transfer window played out as Wolves were the second highest spenders, with only Manchester City splashing more cash.
The club also wants to keep some of their best players, handing new five-year contracts to Joao Gomes and promising defender Yerson Mosquera this week.
Of course, Matheus Cunha has hinted at leaving Wolves and with big teams interested in the Brazilian, the Old Gold can’t stand in his way.
But whilst Cunha is on his way out of Molineux, one player could stay at the club despite never playing a single minute for Pereira.

Why Sasa Kalajdzic is ‘unlikely’ to leave Wolves
Wolves made the £15 million signing of Sasa Kalajdzic in the summer of 2022, and since then, his career in Wolverhampton has unravelled into a nightmare.
Kalajdzic is currently recovering from an ACL injury, the third of his career, which he suffered while on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt last season.
The 27-year-old has only made 14 appearances for the Old Gold in nearly three years, with the Austrian experiencing an incredibly testing time.

But despite Pereira leaving Kalajdzic out of the Premier League squad ahead of his proposed return this month, Kicker reports that the towering striker is ‘unlikely’ to leave the club this summer.
They state that the Austrian international ‘wants to give something’ back to Wolves after a long period of suffering and he’s also moved his family across to Wolverhampton in the past year, which implies he sees his future at the club.
Kalajdzic deserves a second chance at Wolves
Kalajdzic has been incredibly unlucky with injuries since moving to Wolves, and he will hope this latest ACL injury is his final slice of bad luck.
So, with his contract expiring in two years time and perhaps little interest in the centre-forward, Pereira could use pre-season to give the striker a second chance.
Wolves are currently nine points above the bottom three and barring any major hiccups, will be playing Premier League football next season.
Since becoming manager of the club, Pereira has got the best out of Jorgen Strand Larsen, a tall and languid striker, with Kalajdzic posing a similar build.
The Austrian could be the perfect backup option for Strand Larsen, especially with Cunha likely to depart, and this could be where he finally unleashes his potential.
