Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest are among the clubs chasing Marseille star Luis Henrique for the summer window.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who state several clubs are ‘on the lookout’ for the 23-year-old, including Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.
Roberto De Zerbi used Henrique as a right wing-back and a left winger this season, and he’s managed nine goals and seven assists.
The Brazilian’s performances have attracted interest from several clubs and the ‘battle has only just begun’ for his signature.
Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen are ‘all keen’ and will fight for Henrique.
The Nerazzurri are pressing the most and made contact with his camp and Marseille. The Serie A winners want to submit an offer in the coming weeks, to have the attacker for the FIFA Club World Cup in June.
Inter have to reach an agreement with the Ligue 1 club, who are demanding over €30m.
Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany appreciates the South American’s profile while Bayer Leverkusen have held talks with his entourage.
Nottingham Forest also like Henrique and Newcastle would like to sign him in the next window. Foot Mercato state these two clubs haven’t yet contacted his entourage.
