Jack Harrison’s time away from Leeds United this season continues to be summed up by a similar story at Everton, showing great effort with very little quality.
Amid Leeds’ promotion push this month, Jack Harrison is on loan from the club finally looking to make a career away from Elland Road.
He’s at Everton for a second successive season, but his reputation amongst the Toffees faithful isn’t looking strong.

With every passing week, Leeds are wanting the winger to pick up the form that he previously showed for the Whites in the Premier League, given that he’s an asset that needs selling in the near future.
However, with just one goal to his name all season – a double deflection away at lowly Wolves – he’s hardly pulling up trees in a blue shirt despite his ever-present work rate.
His latest league start under David Moyes came in a spirited 1-0 Merseyside Derby defeat at Anfield, unlucky not to get anything out of the game as Beto had a goal chalked off and hit the post, while Liverpool’s winner could have been judged offside on another day.

The Liverpool Echo’s report on the game and player ratings were kind to the Toffees despite their defeat, but Harrison could only muster a 6/10 with a very familiar phrase being used:
“Typically industrious down the right wing but it was more perspiration that inspiration and he needed to show more quality and decisiveness.”
Jack Harrison runs around a lot – but Leeds need more to sell him for a good fee
He’s not welcome back at Leeds and of course a permanent sale is going to be the priority this summer, but his performances don’t suggest Everton will want him.
Harrison is providing very little in the final third for Moyes right now, and for all his running, could easily be replaced out wide.
The issue therefore at Leeds is finding the right suitor for him in the summer to finally cut ties with someone who’s burned his bridges.
