Aston Villa loanee Marcus Rashford continued his impressive form the club, contributing to a 3-0 away win against Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday night.
Following his first goals for the club in the weekend's FA Cup quarter-final victory over Preston, Rashford found the net again on Wednesday, this time in the Premier League.
He notched his first league goal for Villa in the 51st minute at the Amex Stadium. Unai Emery's team then solidified their lead with strikes from Marco Asensio and Donyell Malen.
Rashford, who joined Villa from Manchester United in January to rediscover his spark, appears to have done just that at Villa Park. Post-match, he expressed his joy on social media.
Posting images of his goal-scoring moment and celebrations on Instagram, he captioned it: "Great win away! Lets keep building."
In the comments section Villa teammate Youri Tielemans responded with three emojis; a fire, praising hands and a muscle. Rashfors's team-mates at United, Amad, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw and Godwill Kukonki all liked the post.
Rashford will hope to continue his form when Villa take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday evening (5.30pm kick-off).
Villa holds a £40 million option to turn Rashford's temporary stay into a permanent one come summer. However, Emery had a straightforward message for Rashford after his Brighton goal.
"Keep going is the message for him," Emery remarked. "Playing more minutes means he's getting physically better, he's scoring more goals.
"We're playing him as a striker and trying to compete with [Ollie] Watkins. Maybe going forward we can play them together.
"Try to exploit his qualities. He's in the best confidence moment.
"On Sunday we planned to play him as a striker and he scored two goals so I decided to go again and he scored."
