Fulham ‘determined’ to sign versatile player – Can be ‘biggest bargain’ of summer

Fulham have identified CD Leganés’ Valentin Rosier as a transfer target for the summer window.

That’s according to Foot Mercato, and they cover Fulham and Eintracht Frankfurt’s interest in the 28-year-old.

Last summer, the Frenchman joined the La Liga club on a free transfer and has impressed this season.

Operating mainly as a right-back and at times as a centre-back, he’s played 2,346 minutes from 29 games this season. Rosier can also operate as a left-back.

The defender has less than three months left on his contract. This, coupled with Rosier’s versatility and performances, make him attractive for Fulham and Eintracht Frankfurt.

The report states Marco Silva’s side and Eintracht Frankfurt are ‘determined to get their hands’ on Rosier in the next window. Foot Mercato are of the belief his qualities make him a ‘great fit’ for several clubs.

He’s hoping to join a bigger club next season and isn’t short of suitors. Apart from Fulham and the German club, an unnamed Ligue 1 side are also in the picture to sign him. It’s not clear whether Marco Silva’s side are seen as a bigger club by Rosier.

The outlet insists Rosier could be ‘one of the biggest bargains’ of the upcoming window, and whether that’s the case needs to be seen.
