The Glazers are living the dream when it comes to Man Utd as their pockets are still lining up, only without the added criticism.
Willingly or not, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has become the public shield for the deeply unpopular owners, acting as the face of the club he doesn’t even own the majority of!
The Glazers, in turn, are more than a billion richer without any accountability, so it’s fair to assume that despite Ratcliffe’s public comments (hello, NDAs!), he doesn’t have a high opinion of the family.
That optic should get even worse as the Glazers have just done for their American team, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, what they rarely, if ever did for Man Utd.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe should be furious.

Glazers’ double standards at Man Utd
For all of Ineos’ faults and their ruthless, at times tone-deaf decision-making, there’s one thing Ratcliffe and Co. can’t be blamed for.
It’s their culture of accountability and, in Ratcliffe’s own words, “facing the music” for their actions by coming out and publicly owning up to it.
That part of communication with the fans had been entirely absent for a long time at Old Trafford from the Glazers and only resuscitated fleetingly out of guilt during the Super League abomination.
Glazers’ silence over the circus they had created in Manchester infuriated fans and Ratcliffe was a breath of fresh air.

Apparently, their silence is limited to matters related to United only, with their double standards on full display as they communicate publicly regarding matters related to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, their NFL outfit.
In a recent interview, Joel Glazer gave an update on their plans for the renovation of their stadium and the steps involved, going into detail about the talks held with the administration.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe should be furious at Man Utd
At a time when Ratcliffe has faced a difficult line of questioning, taking careful steps to avoid slandering the Glazers, his business partners are happily doing in the USA what they should have been doing for a while in Manchester.
The suggestions that the Glazers truly love the club have always been a bit hard to believe and these actions don’t help that feeling.
Ratcliffe can’t go in on them publicly for obvious contractual reasons but the Glazers lack even that bit of nous to front up in Manchester on the odd occasion.
They are determined to make it worse by being hypocrites when it comes to communicating with the fans.
The day they’re bought out by someone at United will be a true day to celebrate.
