Keep support positive on Thursday night and arrive early for visual celebration

Chelsea’s home meeting with Tottenham is again one of our most-anticipated matches of the season and we are looking forward to a big atmosphere and a passionate London derby contest.

Fans coming to tonight’s game at Stamford Bridge are recommended to take your places in the stadium in time for a visual celebration of the club’s 120th anniversary.

Honour flags will be randomly distributed across the Shed End. If you have a flag allocated to your seat, please wave this flag during Liquidator and during the match, or pass it on to another supporter if you do not wish to do so. Please leave this flag in your seat when you leave the stadium.

In addition, a memorable fan-led banner organised by WE ARE THE SHED will be deployed across the Matthew Harding lower tier. We encourage you to arrive early to show your support and assist if you can.

Our fans have a big part to play in encouraging the team and creating an exciting atmosphere as we continue our quest for a high league finish, and we would like to remind fans of their responsibilities in keeping support positive.

Although there has been significant improvement in recent seasons, a small minority of Chelsea supporters have in the past tarnished this derby by using antisemitic chanting, noises and gestures, including the Y-word, offering the justification of opposition fans using those terms as a form of identity.

Our stance on this remains clear – there is no place for such behaviour at Chelsea Football Club, regardless of its use by fans of other clubs.

Discriminatory actions or language have no place anywhere in football or society and Chelsea is a club that actively celebrates our diversity. As supporters, we ask that you share our vision of a club and a game free from discrimination that is open to all.

Fans are also reminded there are measures and strong sanctions in place against offenders to tackle other anti-social and criminal behaviours such as entering the pitch without permission, carrying or using smoke bombs or pyrotechnics, throwing objects and drug use.
