Marcus Rashford sends Nottingham Forest three-word message as Unai Emery drops Ollie Watkins…

Marcus Rashford has set his sights on Nottingham Forest, telling Aston Villa “let’s keep building”.

The on-loan Manchester United forward has hit three goals in the last two matches for Villa, helping to fire them to the FA Cup semi-finals and a 3-0 win against Brighton in the Premier League.

After hitting a double against Preston in the FA Cup quarter-finals, Rashford set Villa on their way to victory over the Seagulls on Wednesday night.

And ahead of facing Forest in the Premier League at Villa Park on Saturday (5:30pm), Rashford said on Instagram: “Great win away! Let’s keep building.”

With Forest in third place in the table and Villa seventh, it is a huge clash in the race to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Rashford has played as a central striker for Villa in the last two matches - and could start there once again against the Reds, ahead of Ollie Watkins.

"Marcus Rashford, his second match in a row as a striker getting confidence and goals,” said Villa boss Unai Emery after victory over Brighton.

“Of course, we have to support as well Ollie Watkins. He has to try to compete with Marcus Rashford to help the team as a striker.

"The next step maybe we can try to do in case we have time is to play with both.

“But I think we have very good news inside the squad with some players showing their commitment now to get their best. We will need for the next weeks, for Saturday against Nottingham Forest.”
