Manchester United’s summer transfer window appears to revolve around signing a new striker.
The news coming out from Old Trafford regarding Ruben Amorim’s summer business points to a new No.9 being the priority, with updates coming in the Red Devils' interest in Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres.

Meanwhile, there will be several players heading for the exit door, including those out of contract who are attracting interest from Premier League clubs.

Osimhen and Garnacho swap deal

United’s search for a striker could see them include one of their star homegrown players in a deal.
The Red Devils hold a long-term interest in Napoli marksman Victor Osimhen, who is on loan at Galatasaray. As reported by the Daily Mail, Alejandro Garnacho could be potentially used in a swap deal.
Napoli were one of the teams interested in the 20-year-old winger in January but a move never materialised, with United rejecting a bid.

However, United’s interest in Osimhen could see them potentially look to include Garnacho in any deal to try and reduce the price this summer.
Viktor Gyokeres
Amorim has been dealt a major blow in his pursuit to be reunited with Gyokeres at Old Trafford.
The Sporting Lisbon star was transformed into one of the world’s most lethal strikers by Amorim, with the Swede scoring 66 goals and registering 23 assists in 68 games under the Portuguese.

However, the dream link-up appears to have been scuppered, According to A Bola, United are not among the clubs that Gyokeres has on his shortlist. With the star, who turns 27 before the start of next season, wanting to play in the Champions League.
United will only play in the Champions League next season if they win the Europa League this campaign.
Victor Lindelof

Having joined the club in 2017 in a £30million deal from Benfica, Lindelof has been unable to nail down a starting role and has been a fringe player under Ruben Amorim.
With the 30-year-old likely to be available in the summer on a free transfer, Everton and West Ham are interested in signing the centre-back, as per TBR Football.
Of the Premier League clubs interested, Everton and West Ham are said to be 'leading the way', but Brighton, Crystal Palace and Wolves are reportedly keeping an eye on the situation.
