Bengals showing interest in Rutgers’ Eric Rogers ahead of draft

As we move closer to the 2025 NFL Draft, we will start to see more and more players linked to the Cincinnati Bengals as more pre-draft visits and reports come out.

Justin Melo of The Draft Network has reported that the Bengals are showing interest in Rutgers cornerback Eric Rogers.

Rogers played at Northern Illinois before transferring to Rutgers for his final two seasons, where he appeared in 24 games. In those 24 games, he registered 53 tackles, one interception, and nine passes defensed.

Rogers is slated to be a late day three pick, or even to go as a college free agent. With the Bengals having only six picks in this year’s draft, they could try to sign Rogers after the draft if he isn’t selected.

Cincinnati has needs across the defensive side of the ball, so it is no shock to seem them doing their homework on multiple prospects.
