Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United‘really hot’for same player–Price tag just keeps rising

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are ‘really hot’ for Eintracht Frankfurt star Hugo Ekitiké, but he will cost €80m or more this summer.

That’s [according to BILD’s Frankfurt edition](https://www.bild.de/), who cover the Frenchman today and how Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all want one of the ‘Europe’s hottest striker prospects’.

They explain that all the signs point to a departure for the Frankfurt striker this summer, with him continuing to fill the void left behind by Omar Marmoush after he joined Manchester City in the January transfer window.

With 19 goals and eight assists in all competitions Ekitiké has been noticed and Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are ‘really hot’ for him. Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and AC Milan are also showing interest in him.

Eintracht don’t intend to sell for cheap and want at least €80m for the striker, but that price tag may even rise if he continues to improve by the end of the season.

The German side want as big a fee as possible as they’ll owe 20% to Paris Saint Germain after paying €16.5m plus €3.5m in bonuses for Ekitiké.

The newspaper backs up reports from Wednesday that states they believe the ‘poker game’ for his signature will heat up after the Club World Cup, which runs from June 14th to July 13th. None of Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester United will be competing in that tournament, though.

There is some hope at Frankfurt that they can convince the striker to remain for another year, particularly if they qualify for the Champions League, but with big admirers that may be difficult, even if they keep bumping up his price tag.
