Claudio Echeverri sends message to Oscar Bobb after making comeback in Manchester City 2-0…

Oscar Bobb made his comeback for Manchester City during the 2-0 win over Leicester City on Wednesday night.

The Norway international has been absent ever since fracturing his leg during a training session back in August, which was a huge blow for Pep Guardiola after the 21-year-old’s impressive impact last season.

As you may recall, the Manchester City No.52 scored a crucial late winner in the 3-2 victory over Newcastle last season, which kept the Citizens in the Premier League title race.

Oscar Bobb is clearly a popular figure at the Etihad Stadium as fans warmly greeted him back during the win over Leicester – and Claudio Echeverri has now sent his teammate a nice message on Instagram too.

What Claudio Echeverri sent to Oscar Bobb

The Argentine – a £12.5m signing from River Plate – only linked up with his new side in January, but already seems to be fond of the Norwegian.

Echeverri, who Sergio Aguero has spoken to, wrote “top Oscar” in the comments section of Bobb’s Instagram post – with “top” often being used to describe something as amazing or great in South America.

PUMA also wrote a message, posting: “Things we love to see: @oscarbobb back on the pitch.”

Manchester City also wrote “love it” in response, while Kalvin Phillips liked the post.

Clearly, many associated with Manchester City are delighted to see Bobb back in action – hopefully, he can avoid any setbacks and continue to develop his immense talent.

Manchester City could have the new Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane in Echeverri and Bobb

It should excite Manchester City fans to see that Echeverri and Bobb – who supporters liken to Phil Foden – have already struck up something of a friendship, as they could be the wingers of the next generation.

Crucially, the Argentina U20 international is a right-footed winger who often lines up on the left flank or centrally, cutting inside to devastating effect.

In regards to Bobb, the City Football Academy graduate is the opposite, a left-footed winger who typically cuts inside from the right, so the pair could quite feasibly play together in attack for Manchester City for the foreseeable future.
