With his 1,829th career three-pointer, Hardaway surpassed NBA legend Kobe Bryant, who made 1,827 threes during his career. This achievement moved Hardaway up to 29th on the all-time list for three-pointers made, accomplishing the feat in 539 fewer games than Bryant.
This season, Hardaway is averaging 10.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists, playing a key role in the Pistons’ strong campaign, which has them on track to return to the playoffs for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
Hardaway began his career with the New York Knicks in the 2013-14 season before playing stints with Atlanta and Dallas, where he had his longest tenure and helped the Mavericks reach the Finals last year.
